HCFA Introduces 1998 Codes and Fees

HCFA has issued the 1998 clinical diagnostic laboratory fees, the record layout for the fee schedule, new 1998 CPT-4 codes, and the description of the filing process. Please note that the Balanced Budget Act froze local fee amounts for 1998 and that the national limitation amounts for 1998 were reduced to 74% of the median.
