CDC Posts Notice of CLIA Test Categorization

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a Notice in the May 3, 2000, Federal Register announcing the addition of approximately 1,130 test systems, assays, and examinations categorized by CDC as moderate or high complexity, and 46 test systems, assays, and examinations waived by CDC. Comments on the categorization of these tests may be sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Public Health Practice Program Office, Mail Stop F-11, 4770 Buford Highway, NE, Atlanta, Georgia, 30341-3724, no later than 5 p.m. on June 2, 2000.
