Requirements

The only requirement to receive the 2004 Professor’s Rounds series is that your facility has a videocassette player. Gone is the requirement to schedule satellite time and to have your staff view the broadcast at a scheduled time. This affords tremendous flexibility for today’s department directors who find it increasingly difficult to bring their staff into a room at the same time to watch a live telecast. Heavy staff loads, vacations and off-shifts are no longer a barrier to participation. Staff can even check out the videotape and view it at their convenience any time during their shift or when away from work. Site coordinators have 60 days for their staff to participate in each presentation, complete the test and earn continuing education credit, (CRCE).
