- Commercial exhibitor advertising is not allowed in the public areas of the convention center, including parking lots, without payment of additional compensation to the LVCVA. The current rate for all public areas, except for the skywalk, is fifteen percent (15%) of show management’s gross revenue. The skywalk is twenty-five percent (25%) of show management’s gross revenue. Prior to the sale of commercial exhibitor advertising you must enter into a separate agreement with the LVCVA. You will be required to furnish the LVCVA with a list of all advertising sold in public areas (30) days prior to the first day of move-in, including a rate card and copy of invoice.
- Permanent facility and commercial signage is found throughout the LVCC and may not be visibly blocked in any manner. This signage includes directional graphics, emergency exits, restrooms, concessions, exhibit hall signs, exhibitor service signs, commercial advertising, etc. Show signs and/or decorations may not be attached to the permanent facility graphics and the removal of such is strictly prohibited.
- Banners and signage may be attached to the facility only in locations and by methods approved by the Convention Services Manager.
- When there are multiple events in the building your Convention Services Manager will approve the appropriate locations for all banners/signage in public areas.
- All requests to hang signs and banners must be submitted for approval to the Convention Services Manager (60) sixty days prior to move-in.
- The beams in the grand lobby, central concourse and south halls are not approved as weight bearing structures. Any banners (cloth or saddle banners) hung from these beams must be approved in advance by the Convention Services Manager.
- In the interest of safety, hanging of signs and banners from the tubular space frame, located at the plaza entrance and Gold Lot restrooms building, will not be allowed.
- Hanging or placing signs or banners from the Paradise Road Pedestrian Bridge, from any of the Desert Inn bridges, the monorail or from the South Ballrooms is prohibited.
- Signs and banners placed outside of the building, such as the bus canopies, must lie flat against the building and be properly secured.
- Signs and banners are not permitted on the light poles on LVCVA property. Banners, posters or advertising on light poles off LVCVA property is a violation of state or county codes and will be removed at the expense of the lessee. The lessee may also be cited and fined and it will be the lessee’s responsibility to bill the offending exhibitors.
- Signs and banners will not be placed in such a way as to block or cover any neon sign or commercial advertising located in the Grand Lobby, the access to the restaurant areas, telephones or any drinking fountain.
- Nails, screws and duct tape will not be used to hang signs and banners on walls.
- Magnetic signs material may be affixed to the Centria Mauve Building Panels located along the exterior of the LVCC building, canopies, and Visitor Information Center (Southeast corner of the Gold Lot).
- The request for approval must indicate the size, location and weight per square foot of the magnetic signage material. The Convention Services Manager and the installer shall review the area where signage is to be installed, both before and after the signage is installed, in order to verify any damages due to the installation and removal process. The installer shall be responsible for repairing any damage caused by their actions.
- No magnetic signage shall be installed that exceeds the weight of three (3) pounds per square foot. For reference purposes, the weights of commonly used magnetic signage stock are:
- 0.03" thickness material equals 0.68 pounds per square foot
- 0.06" thickness material equals 1.36 pounds per square foot
- No mechanical fasteners of any kind may be used in the installation of magnetic signs.
- Freestanding signs (i.e. kiosks, meter boards, etc.) must have a base design that is approved by the Convention Services Manager and the LVCVA Safety Office.
- Any signs placed on windows above the entrance doors (i.e. static cling, foam core, etc.) must not leave any residue on the window surface.
- No advertising stickers are allowed on facility property.
