50th Anniversary Congress Golden Memories.
Golden Future.

The American Association for Respiratory Care invites you to participate in the 50th International Respiratory Congress. The Congress is recognized as the definitive meeting for respiratory care professionals from around the world. This year’s conference will draw thousands of respiratory therapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers and leaders to New Orleans for four full days of cutting edge programming. There will also be a post-graduate course offered for respiratory therapists and nurses which will help prepare them to be certified asthma educators, as well as many early morning educational sessions offering you an opportunity to participate in small sessions with interchange with the faculty and additional continuing education credit.

Topics of interest this year include a wide variety of areas that should be of interest to respiratory care professionals. Included this year are: ethics in healthcare, COPD, asthma, advances in mechanical ventilation, education, research, transport, sleep medicine, pediatrics, updates in diagnostic standards, home care innovations, management, international perspectives and many other topics. This year’s Program Committee has worked very hard to ensure that the program lives up to its reputation of providing contemporary programming that addresses the needs of our membership. In fact, it is through direct and frequent communication with our members and section chairs that this year's conference was developed, resulting in the largest, most comprehensive, and best respiratory care meeting ever presented!

Please plan on attending and join us in celebrating our “Golden” anniversary of the AARC’s International Respiratory Congress. Golden Memories, Golden Future awaits all respiratory professionals. I hope to see you there.
