The winter holidays are full of festivals and special events as well—cooking demonstrations, special “Reveillon” menus (a multi-course New Orleans tradition), tours of historic homes decorated for the holidays, public concerts nightly in the majestic St. Louis Cathedral, riverboat cruises, the magnificent lighted Celebration in the Oaks, caroling in Jackson Square, Chanukah and Kwanzaa activities, and much, much more.
