Dräger Celebrates Double Centennial of Medical and Safety Technology Excellence

AARC Corporate Partner, Dräger Medical, Inc., recently celebrated 100 years of ventilation technology.

Dräger's 1907 arrival in the U.S. conicided with the introduction of the first mobile short-term respirator. The Pulmotor became widely used by mine rescue teams across America, Germany, England and Mexico and even by mountaineering rescue squads in England. The first users of the ventilation products were soon dubbed "Draegermen", and ever since, the term has been synonymous with mine rescue teams worldwide.

Dräger Medical, Inc. joined the AARC Corporate Partner Program in 2007. The AARC's Corporate Partner Program is comprised of best-in-class organizations interested in supporting the goals and work of the Association.
