Ozark Health Medical Center is seeking Respiratory Therapists to enhance the patient experience while providing respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring, and advanced respiratory therapy services under medical direction to our patients in a variety of care environments.

Clinton, Arkansas is located on the west side of Greers Ferry Lake at the center of the state. We have a growing southern charm town with a relaxed population and excellent schools, state highway 65 for commuters, area artist, and beautiful surrounding home sites for future friends. Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Greers Ferry Lake and overlook the Little Red River. A normal commute is 30-40 minutes to Conway,
Arkansas, while still only just over an hour to Little Rock.

Essential Requirements:

  • 2 to 5+ years of recent clinical hospital experience
  • Current and valid Arkansas Registration and Professional License
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Evidence of effective communication skills
  • Effective team member, Motivated and Enthusiastic
  • Proficient in all respiratory therapy applications
  • RRT or CRT credentials
  • BLS required, (ACLS, PALS,NRP preferred)

Additional Duties:

  • Perform complete pulmonary function studies, understand and initiate invasive and non­invasive ventilation with various equipment, ABG acquisition and explanation, and instruct patients/families regarding respiratory-related procedures, medications, adjuncts, home care, and equipment.
  • Assist with patient data collection and patient flow.
  • Serve as resource to clinic personnel in respiratory-related matters.

The Respiratory Therapist will maintain all skills and knowledge sufficient to provide safe, effective, and appropriate care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, toddlers, children, adolescents, and adults.
