Advocacy, Awareness & Representation

We know that the work you do matters.

Our goal is to make sure that you and your patients matter to newsmakers and lawmakers.

The AARC’s full-time director of government affairs forms relationships in Washington, D.C. to ensure that your work and your patients’ concerns are important to legislators. We create strategies for introducing legislation about issues that affect your work, your patients’ well-being and the respiratory health of all Americans. We work to influence lawmakers and regulatory agencies on any decisions that might determine how you provide care.

With a team of knowledgeable, experienced public relations experts, we create and increase public awareness and knowledge of the field of respiratory care and respiratory health issues.

The AARC helps to ensure your success by making sure your professional community and its values remain visible and vital to the public and to public servants.
