Privacy of Patient Information

The Federal government has implemented strict rules governing patient privacy and insurance cover. The law making these changes is the , the Health Insurance and Portability Act of 1996, or HIPPA. AARC commented on one section of the law several years ago. Go here to read AARC’s comments.
